Office Administrator
Briody & Co is a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in the North East, are looking for an Office Administrator for our Dundalk Office.
​
You will be responsible for providing administration support to the team and ensuring the office is run smoothly.
The successful Candidate will have the following characteristics:

Be highly professional and well presented at all times

Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office

A strong work ethic with an interest in providing excellent customer service

Excellent communication skills and are confident in any client-facing setting whether face to face, by phone or written correspondence

Ability to work on own initiative

Duties to include but not limited to:
-
Front of House and reception duties, greeting visitors to the office.

Answering the telephone, dealing effectively with client queries or referring to other staff
-
Day to day office management together with general office administration such as filing, photocopying, scanning

Diary Management
-
Control and supervision of emails and on line filing systems
-
Maintenance of filing systems and typing client correspondence
-
Performing various other administrative tasks
-
Responsible for processing and updating invoices
-
Maintaining a safe and clean reception area and meeting room.

TRAINEE ACCOUNTANT
We are seeking to recruit a Trainee Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding practice where you will gain exposure to a diverse client portfolio.
As a Trainee Accountant, your role will be:

Preparation of Sole Trader and Audit Exempt Limited Company Accounts.

Preparation of Tax computations and Returns.
-
Preparation of VAT 3 & PAYE Returns.
-
Rotate between various assignments within the team therefore gaining a broad knowledge and skills.

Direct client interaction.
Candidates must have:
-
A relevant third level degree (Accountancy and Business preferred).
-
Be willing to work toward an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA).
-
A high level of self-motivation.
-
Good attention to detail.
-
Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.

Good technical knowledge.

ACCOUNTANT
We are seeking to recruit a Qualified Accountant to join our team at Anne St, Dundalk. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding practice where you will gain exposure and manage a diverse client portfolio.
As an Accountant, your role will be:

Manage a portfolio of clients.

Demonstrate an understanding of accounting concepts and apply them to client situations.

Organise the planning, execution and completion of accounting and other assignments.

Preparation of tax computations and returns.

Manage workflow & staff training.
-
Plan and organise weekly team meetings.
-
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines for accounting procedures.

Assist with ad hoc assignments.
Candidates must have:

Three/four years practice experience.

A high level of self-motivation.

Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
